SSFP
A simple, secure form protocol
What is this?
SSFP is a protocol for prompting and collecting user input over the internet. It aims to be secure, minimalistic, and useful. The first version of an informal specification is currently in development.
Why?
There is an unmet need for a standard method of collecting user input in a way that is resource-efficient and accessible to implement. A protocol that fills this need would be practical for:
- Resource-limited applications
- Microcontrollers/embedded systems
- Hobby computing
Who is behind this?
SSFP is being developed by Jackson Pelot. You can find more information about him and his other projects at jacksonpelot.com.
